The unity candle is used at a marriage ceremony to
symbolize the joining of the two families of the
bride and groom. The candle is
typically lit by the mothers of the bridal couple, but can
also be lit by any representative of a family, as
well as multiple members of the families.
The lighting of the unity candle can be even more
significant when either of the bridal couple has

children, and symbolizes their approval of the
marriage that has just taken place. What

These personalized unity tapers are available in either silver or gold ink and ivory
or white tapers that match our personalized unity candles, shown above.
Tapers are standard size and will fit standard unity candle holders; they measure 7/8"
in diameter, and are approximately 10" high.
The minimum order is two candles, but the wording may be different on each candle.
The more letters required, the smaller the individual letter.
Each taper may have up to 20 letters and spaces.
While we will do script lettering if you wish, and you can select the desired font during
the ordering process, because of the design lettering, script fonts are difficult to read.
We have done these unity tapers with gold lettering in an Arial font as shown here.
We would recommend either the last name, or in the case of children who are to light the
candle, with the child's first name.

The lighting of a memorial candle symbolizes the remembrance of a treasured and sadly missed family member.
Our Memorial Candles are available in either white or ivory, with metallic silver or gold ink
and up to four lines, with your choice of wording.
These pillars are 3" in diameter and 9" tall, and will fit any standard pillar holder, including unity candle holders.
The picture is circled with a matching circle of silver or gold. We cannot guarantee
placement of a photo with two people; however we have been successful in the past.
Remember, the more words on a line, the smaller the lettering on all the lines will be,
but we'll do our best to put what you would like to say on your candle.
