The unity candle is used at a marriage ceremony to symbolize the joining of the two families of the bride and groom. The candle is typically lit by the bridal couple, but can also be lit by any representative of a family, as well as multiple members of their families.

The lighting of the unity candle can be even more significant when either of the bridal couple has children. Lighting the unity candle in such circumstances can be extended to include the children, and symbolizes their approval of the marriage that has just taken place.

What could be lovelier that lighting a unity candle that has the name of the newly married bride and groom in silver or gold lettering? Even nicer is the united lighting of the unity candle with a taper that has a family name or child's name on it!

The lighting of a memorial candle at the wedding ceremony is a touching reminder that while a beloved family member may not longer be on earth, they are not forgotten. The memorial candle can be placed next to the bride and groom's candle, or it an be placed at the entrance of the aisle. When it is placed that way, the bride pauses on her way down the aisle to light the candle, symbolizing her request that her loved one watch over her marriage ceremony.

Our memorial candles are 3" x 9" tall standard pillar candles, and will fit in any standard unity candle holder. They are available in white or ivory, and either have a design, or a saying. Either metallic silver or gold ink is available.

Personalized Memorial Unity Candle with Photo

The lighting of a memorial candle symbolizes the remembrance of a treasured and sadly missed family member. During a wedding ceremony, the bride pauses as she begins her walk down the aisle, and lights the candle that has been placed at a side table on the left, or as an addition to the candle ceremony during the service.

Our Memorial Candles are available in either white or ivory, with metallic silver or gold ink and up to four lines, with your choice of wording.

These pillars are 3" in diameter and 9" tall, and will fit any standard pillar candle holder, including unity candle holders. They are dripless candles, rated for 165 hours burning time, and we have tested them to confirm that.

We cannot guarantee placement of a photo with two people; however we have been successful in the past.

Remember, the more words on a line, the smaller the lettering on all the lines will be, but we'll do our best to put what you would like to say on your candle. Purchase includes a photo.

These personalized unity tapers are available in either ivory or white, with metallic silver or gold ink, and match the personalize unity candle shown on the left. During a wedding ceremony, they are a welcome addition when used as part of the candle lighting ceremony, by the bride and groom, the parents, and/or any children of the couple.

Our tapers are 12" tall, and will fit standard taper candle holders; they measure 7/8" in diameter.

The minimum order is two candles, but the wording may be different on each candle. The more letters required, the smaller the individual letter.

Each taper may have up to 20 letters and spaces.

While we will do script lettering if you wish, and you can select the desired font during the ordering process, all capital script fonts are difficult to read. We have done these unity tapers with gold lettering in an Arial font as shown here.

We would recommend either the last name, or in the case of children who are to light the candle, with the child's first name.
